For new or inexperienced Color
Guard Directors, judges sheets are only
as helpful as the comments made directly from the
judge. If you see that you got a 20/50 for a
certain aspect of the "General Effect"
sheet, it doesn't mean much to you because you
have no context to relate it to. Yeah, you
can READ the criteria for which you were
scored...but let's be honest...it's all gibberish.
In other words, for some directors, the word
"Vocabulary" means how many long and
complicated words you know and by looking at the
judges sheet, you don't know much.
