Drill writing is probably the most difficult thing
to do in Color Guard. In Color guard, the
drill is written for you by a professional drill
writer. In Winter Guard it is a different
story...unless you have a handsome budget.
It is important to remember
that you are putting on a show that needs to be
pleasing to the eye. Make sure that your
drill flows with and reflects the music.
Also, make sure that "sets" lead into each other
so that the audience and judges know where to
look.
